My Art Journey
Hi, as you can tell from my website, my name is Fiona and I am an artist from the West Coast of Scotland. I mainly paint in watercolour, but love all mediums including oils, digital and charcoal. I have always loved art, but it wasn't until lockdown that I really started to commit to it full time. After taking part in a couple of online courses with the Glasgow School of Art, that gave me the push that I needed. My work used to be mainly landscapes but venturing into portrait work has been so refreshing.

Classes
In my previous job, for many years I taught all aspects of nails as well as painting all sorts, creating tiny flowers and 3D acrylic work. I hold a teaching certificate which is recognised through Ofqual.
As my art journey has progressed, I would love to share with you some of what I have learned. I have done many art classes as well as the the ones with GSA as I have mentioned above. If you are local to me, then we could do this on a face to face basis. If not, the wonderful world of the www can bring us together and we can do classes online via zoom or whatever media platform suits all. Art is for sharing and bringing people together no matter the ability and if what I can share can make someone pick up a paintbrush or a pencil, well that's all that matters.
